I made it to Thing 23, yippee! So much new information! I have picked a few "things" and will use them on a regular basis.
This was quite a challenge. As I said at the beginning I prefer to work with an "instructor or teacher" and still do. Is it really better to get knowledge from trial and error? Or is it better to ask a question, get the correct answer and move on?

Yet another new and interesting road to travel. Found several books that I plan to "listen" to in the near future.

Found a real interesting Gardening Radio Show and did a RSS feed to my bloglines account. In fact can't wait until I have time to listen to all the advice and recommendations.

Discovered Pandora where I can create my own radio with only the music I like to listen to.
Plan to build on this. Yes, I'm running out of time and am pressing myself to finish this.

So much information, so little time. I went on the MERLIN Wiki Learning Link and was very impressed to see how this was a tool for "group collaboration and social networking" for different conferences. I then picked a favorite subject to search and of course found loads of information.

Good "Thing". Found several sites I plan to share with friends. A whole new world of information and opinions has been opened to me.

In researching Del.icio.us I "connected" with some new
and interesting websites. Tags will help to clean up my
multitude of bookmarked sites.
While exploring I went into a photography tag and
selected "What chefs do when bored" thinking I would
connect with something about cooking. Imagine my
surprise when it took me to a site full of animal pictures
and articles.

Thing 9 Merlin & News Feeds

After setting up Merlin as one of the feeds in my bloglines I explored Topix and now have a feed for the local news where I live. This way I can save some money and trees by not buying the local newspaper.

Thing 8 RSS Feeds & Bloglines

Gosh, I always wondered what that little orange box with rss in it meant, now I know.
Set up my own blogline with my feeds. It only takes a second to log in and I have access to various articles on subjects that I am interested it.

Say Peanuts

We just purchased our first digital camera about 2 weeks ago. Because of "digital image stabilization" we were able to take pictures while horseback riding and they were crystal clear, absolutely no blurr. I have yet to "store" my pictures, but look forward to the different options that are available to choose from. I'm also anxious to post them to my blog.

My horse Chicklett is part Belgian Draft & part Quarter Horse. Whenever we come across some of these stately creatures, I tell her they are her cousins.
